Acceptable Use Policy
Effective 2026-09-18 · forms part of the Terms of Service
This policy covers everyone who uses RocSite. It exists to keep the service safe and
available for every organization on it. Breaching it can lead to suspension or termination.
Do not use RocSite to
- Break the law, or help someone else break it.
- Store or distribute material you have no right to, including infringing content.
- Store or distribute child sexual abuse material. We report this to the authorities
without notice and terminate the workspace immediately.
- Harass, threaten, defame or impersonate a person, or publish someone's private
information without their consent.
- Send unsolicited bulk email, or use a connected mailbox to send spam.
- Distribute malware, run phishing, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system
or to another organization's workspace.
- Probe, scan or load-test the service without our written permission, or interfere with
its operation or with other customers' use of it.
- Circumvent plan limits, seat counts, rate limits or access controls, including by
sharing one seat between multiple people.
- Resell or provide the service to third parties as your own, unless your agreement with
us expressly permits it.
AI features specifically
- Do not use the assistant to generate material that would breach this policy if you had
written it yourself.
- Do not present AI output as professional advice, legal, medical, financial or
otherwise, to people who will rely on it, without competent human review.
- Do not use the service to build a competing model by systematically extracting outputs
at scale.
Fair use of shared capacity
Assistant, transcription and embedding features run on finite compute that is
shared across all customers. Your plan states its daily allowances. Automated or scripted use
that consumes capacity far beyond normal interactive use, even within your allowance, may be
rate-limited so that the service stays responsive for everyone. We will contact you before
taking action unless the load is causing immediate harm.
Security research
We welcome good-faith reports. Email
support@rocsite.com with enough detail to reproduce
the issue. Please do not access another organization's data, degrade the service, or disclose
publicly before we have had a reasonable chance to fix it. We will not pursue action against
research conducted on those terms.
Reporting a problem
To report content or behaviour that breaches this policy, email
support@rocsite.com with the workspace or URL and
what you observed.
What we do about breaches
Depending on severity we may contact the workspace owner, rate-limit or restrict a feature,
suspend an account or a workspace, or terminate the agreement. Where practical we warn first
and give an opportunity to fix the problem. Where there is immediate risk of harm, of legal
exposure, or to the service itself, we may act first and inform you promptly afterwards. Fees
are not refunded for a workspace terminated for breach of this policy.
